Relax, refresh and restore your balance at Suzanne and Victoria’s half day Qigong & Yin Yoga retreat

The first part of our three-hour workshop will focus on Six Healing Sounds Qigong with Suzanne Chung. Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice that involves movement, breathing and mindfulness to improve health and wellbeing. The Six Healing Sounds technique integrates vocal tones with these elements as a way to reduce stress and anxiety, and is believed to be an effective way of calming the mind and promoting mental and physical health.
After a break with Chinese tea and fortune cookies, we will transition from the more yang-like movements of Qigong to the relatively stiller, quieter and more reflective practice of Yin Yoga. Through a combination of long-held poses on the floor, breathwork and meditation, Victoria Ucele will guide you in clearing any blockages in energy (qi) flow which may be contributing to discomfort or tension. Combined with Qigong, the aim is to help you gain harmony and health in body and mind, and leave our half-day retreat feeling refreshed, relaxed and rebalanced.
